[Trailer] Josh Lobo’s I TRAPPED THE DEVIL

The Devil’s a fickle, nasty son of a bitch.
But one man may have the answer for him. Or, maybe, he’s just delusional?

The trailer for I Trapped the Devil came out earlier today. Directed and written by Josh Lobo (who worked in the art department on the spectacular Dave Made a Maze— which was featured on Father Gore’s Best of 2017 List), the film takes all those anxieties of Christmas up another notch, mixing paranoia, Satan, the holidays, and family into a weird, horrific concoction. That’s what it looks like, anyway.
What do you think?

I Trapped the Devil is produced by Lobo, among others such as writer Scott Weinberg, AJ Bowen, Susan Burke, and Scott Poythress. The cast are no slouches, including Poythress, Bowen, Burke, as well as Chris Sullivan and Jocelin Donahue. The film also features a score from composer Ben Lovett (The Wind, The Ritual, Sun Don’t Shine, The Signal).
Father Son Holy Gore: I Trapped the Devil (2019)Plot synopsis as per IMDB:

“A man descends into paranoia after trapping what he believes to be the devil in his basement, but things take a dark turn when his family unexpectedly arrive for Christmas.”

I Trapped the Devil hits theatres and Video-on-Demand services April 26th.
